The Isolator Pullover Attachment The Legendary Machine Movement — Reimagined for Your Rack.

There’s a reason the pullover machine is spoken about like a mythical creature. That massive lat stretch. That smooth sweeping arc. That deep contraction no row or pull-down can touch. It’s a bodybuilding classic — and now it finally fits your rack, your budget, and your home gym.

Pullover, Reimagined

Commercial movement. Home-gym footprint. Bulletproof engineering.

The Isolator Pullover Attachment plugs directly into the Isolator’s rotational port. It’s made from rigid, bent-tube steel with a movement arc that mirrors the pullover machines the greats grew up on — without requiring an extra room in your garage.

Set your bench, connect the attachment, and you’re in business.

About Movement & Rigidity

(Read This Before You Choose Your Version)

Because the pullover attachment connects to the Isolator, and the Isolator itself mounts to only one upright, the setup can have a small amount of movement at the very beginning of the exercise.

In most cases, this settles immediately and then feels solid for the rest of the rep.

However, uprights vary slightly between brands — some are a hair smaller, and in those cases:

  • The Isolator’s pressure pads may not bite as firmly.
  • You may notice a little ongoing side-to-side play, even mid-rep.

Some people won’t mind this at all. Others… will absolutely mind this. So we created an optional upgrade.

The Opposite-Upright Brace (Optional Add-On)

The Opposite-Upright Brace is a simple C-channel with a bearing insert that slides onto the other upright. Slip a pin through into the pullover attachment, and now the unit is tied into both sides of the rack for a true machine-like feel.

For the absolute best experience, we strongly recommend the add-on brace. But for lifters who aren’t finicky and want a lower price point, the pullover attachment works perfectly fine on its own — just with that small potential for movement depending on your rack.

On the product page, when you see the option to add the Opposite-Upright Brace, this is exactly what it’s referring to: extra rigidity and stability for a locked-in pullover experience.

Brace Fitment: The Opposite-Upright Brace includes interchangeable inserts to fit 3x3, 2x3, and 2x2 uprights with either 1" or 5/8" holes, ensuring a secure and proper fit across virtually all major rack systems.

Range of Motion Notes

(Pullover Purists Pay Attention)

The pullover has a much longer range of motion than most Isolator exercises. Leg extensions, key curls, preacher curls — those are shorter arcs. The pullover? A full sweeping movement that can go well beyond everything else.

Because of that, you may want the weight arm to start lower. The Isolator includes a rear rubber bump stop that normally keeps the arm angled slightly upward so most exercises begin under tension.

→ For the pullover, you may want to remove that bump stop to allow the arm to hang straight down and achieve your full stretch.

This gives you all the ROM — but may reduce tension at the very bottom or very top depending on how long your arc is. This is normal for a lever-based system on a long movement path.

Ways to Enhance or Smooth Out the Resistance Curve

You’ve got several options for building perfect tension throughout the entire movement:

  • Use the Isolator Cam — Ideal for consistent tension across any range of motion.
  • Use the Crossbow Cam — A dynamic cable-driven profile with strong tension at the extremes.
  • Add a Resistance Band to the Weight Arm — A simple upgrade that adds tension where the lever naturally lightens.

Choose the feel that matches your training style.

Part of the Expanding Isolator Ecosystem

Your Isolator already replaces multiple machines:

  • Leg extension
  • Leg curl
  • Preacher curl
  • Key curls
  • Hip thrust variations
  • And now: the pullover

The pullover now joins the lineup — giving you one of the most iconic back movements ever created, right on your rack.

Final Thoughts

The pullover is a legendary movement for a reason — nothing lights up your lats quite like it. This attachment brings that exact feel into your home gym with modern engineering and customizable tension options.

If you want the full commercial-machine experience, get the brace. If you don’t mind a little movement and want a lower price point, roll without it.

Either way… the pullover is finally yours.
