Cable Termination Ends

Which Cable Termination End Do I Need?
Each termination end has a specific job in your cam + pulley setups. Use the guide below to match the right end to your floating pulleys, double pulleys, and where the cable attaches to the VTS or trolley. You can also click into example setups to see each part in action.
Round Short Termination End
Clean, compact cable stop for double pulleys and bracket bolts.

Round Short Termination End
Clean, compact cable stop for double pulleys and bracket bolts.
The Short Round Termination End is used where the cable terminates directly onto a pulley bolt or bracket. It’s intentionally short so it doesn’t look bulky or get in the way of the pulley path – you get a clean, low-profile stop right up against the hardware.
You’ll see this used on double pulley brackets and in spots where you want the cable end tight to the bolt without a long knob hanging out.
Example setup using the Short Round Termination End:
In this setup, the short round end terminates the cable on the double-side pulley bracket bolt, and optional extra short ends are used for quick-disconnect options.
Round Long Termination End
Attaches the cable to the VTS or trolley for main load connection.

Round Long Termination End
Attaches the cable to the VTS or trolley for main load connection.
The Long Round Termination End is your main “hook-up” point from the cable to the VTS or a trolley. The longer body gives you more room to clip in, grab, or orient the end without crowding the plates or hardware.
Use this any time the cable connects directly into the VTS or a weight horn trolley – it’s designed to sit cleanly in that space and still be easy to handle.
Example setups using the Long Round Termination End:
In these builds, the long round end is used wherever the cable needs to attach to the VTS or a dedicated trolley so the load tracks properly through the cam and pulley path.
Threaded Termination End
Screws directly into the floating pulley for 1:2 style ratio setups.

Threaded Termination End
Screws directly into the floating pulley for 1:2 style ratio setups.
The Threaded Termination End is made specifically to thread into the floating pulley. This keeps the pulley captured on the cable and lets it travel with the load for mechanical-advantage setups like 1:2 ratios.
Use this any time you’re running a floating pulley in the system – it’s what locks the pulley onto the cable so it can move and multiply the distance (and effective load).
Example setup using the Threaded Termination End:
In this build, the threaded end secures the floating pulley onto the cable, letting the pulley travel and create the 1:2 ratio while the long and short round ends handle the VTS and bracket terminations.
