Isolator Crossbow Cam Package Options

Use this quick chart, then choose your options from the dropdowns below.

1) Add Guide Pulley Bracket 2) Setup Option
Dropdown # Option Name Available Selections Purpose / Notes
1. Add Guide Pulley Bracket
  • Yes – Include Bracket → positions pulleys either above or below the cam to keep the cable tangential to the rim for consistent resistance
  • No – Cam Only
Recommended for smooth resistance and precise cable tracking.
Side-mounted pulleys: The pulleys on this bracket are side-mounted and are intended to interface with the side-mounted weight horn on your VTS or Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley for proper cable path.
2. Setup Option (Load Source, Ratio & Hardware Size)
  • Same Upright Setups (Load source on the same upright as the Isolator)
  • 1. Cam only – use your own cable system or Voltra (no hardware included)
  • 2. Same upright 1:1 ratio using VTS – 1" hardware
  • 3. Same upright 1:1 ratio using VTS – 5/8" hardware
  • 4. Same upright 1:1 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 1" hardware
  • 5. Same upright 1:1 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 5/8" hardware
  • 6. Same upright 1:2 ratio using VTS – 1" hardware
  • 7. Same upright 1:2 ratio using VTS – 5/8" hardware
  • 8. Same upright 1:2 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 1" hardware
  • 9. Same upright 1:2 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 5/8" hardware
  • Back Upright Setups (Load source on the back upright — VTS or Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley)
  • 10. Back upright 1:2 ratio using VTS – 1" hardware
  • 11. Back upright 1:2 ratio using VTS – 5/8" hardware
  • 12. Back upright 1:2 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 1" hardware
  • 13. Back upright 1:2 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 5/8" hardware
  • 14. Back upright 1:1 ratio using VTS – 1" hardware
  • 15. Back upright 1:1 ratio using VTS – 5/8" hardware
  • 16. Back upright 1:1 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 1" hardware
  • 17. Back upright 1:1 ratio using Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley – 5/8" hardware
Ratios:
1:1 = standard resistance feel
1:2 = double the load (trolley travels twice the distance)

Upright Positions:
Same Upright = load source shares upright with Isolator
Back Upright = load source on rear upright (VTS or Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley)

Hardware Sizes:
1"
5/8"
💡 Tip: The Guide Pulley Bracket keeps your cable perfectly tangential to the cam for consistent loading from rep one.
🚨 IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTICE:
This setup only works with the Side Port Weight Arm, which is purchased separately unless you already own the Multi-Horn attachment.

If you have the Multi-Horn, you already have the Side Port Weight Arm and do not need to purchase it again.

✅ The Side Port Weight Arm is compatible with the new upgraded hex internal shaft or the round internal shaft (choose the correct option when purchasing). The round internal shaft is not intended to be used over the max load of 275lbs. (sold separately).
⚠️ Compatibility: The pulleys used with this system are side-mounted and must interface with a side-mounted weight horn. The VTS Lite is not compatible because it does not have side-mounted weight horns. Use the standard VTS or the Single Weight Horn Trolley Side Facing Pulley.
Add Guide Pulley Bracket: Yes

Setup Option

Crossbow Cam — Oversized Power. Featherweight Attitude.

Get the never-lose-tension feel of a giant cam on the Bulletproof Isolator — without a wagon wheel hanging off your rack. Light to move, easy to store, built to slap.

Crossbow Cam

Meet the Crossbow Cam — our “why didn’t that exist before?” solution for getting a massive cam effect on the Isolator without the wagon wheel. It’s an outer-rim cam that plugs into the Isolator’s outside weight port, delivering smooth, progressive resistance with minimal bulk and maximum versatility.

Half the cam. Double the punch.

What to Know

Our standard cam is a little less than half the Isolator lever arm length. The Crossbow Cam matches the full lever length — giving about 2× the felt load compared to the standard cam. So, in many setups where you’d normally double your standard cam to offset pulley ratios, you likely won’t need to double with the Crossbow.

Pair it with the Crossbow Cam Guide Pulley Bracket to keep your cable perfectly tangent to the cam rim, ensuring that never-lose-tension feel from the first inch of movement.

Important Compatibility Note:
The Crossbow Cam requires the Side Port Weight Arm (sold separately).

• If you own the Multi-Horn attachment, you already have the Side Port Weight Arm — no extra purchase needed.
• The Side Port Weight Arm is compatible with the new upgraded hex internal shaft found on recent Isolator models. Older units with the round internal shaft can purchase the Side Port Weight Arm Round option. Keep in mind the round option is not intended for any load over the original max load of 275lbs.

This ensures perfect alignment, secure mounting, and proper resistance transfer.

Why It’s Awesome

  • ~2× felt load vs. the standard cam — thanks to the full-length radius.
  • Heavier feel without floating pulleys, extra cables, or doubled cams.
  • Run it your way: cable-only, plate-loaded, or hybrid mode.
  • Quick, clean install using the Isolator’s Side Port Weight Arm.
  • Optional Guide Pulley Bracket keeps your cable path tangent and tensioned throughout.

How the Magic Works

  • Effective radius = real torque. Doubling the lever-length radius doubles the output torque with the same cable tension.
  • Built-in ratio compensation. If your cable ratio “lightens” the stack (e.g. 2:1), this design restores full resistance feel.
  • Short-lever advantage. Since most users push short of the lever tip, the Crossbow Cam often feels heavier than 1:1 in real-world motion.
